Sara Soard

Recruiter

Sara Soard is a Recruiter for the University of Kentucky Pigman College of Engineering. She connects with prospective students by visiting high schools, attending college fairs, and coordinating both on-campus and off-campus events. Her recruitment territories span Eastern, South Central, and Western Kentucky.

 

Before joining the College of Engineering, Sara worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Marine Solutions, where she recruited civil engineers, commercial divers, and other specialized professionals in the marine engineering field.

 

Sara holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Organizational Development from the University of Louisville and a Master of Arts in Adult Education from Western Kentucky University. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in General Dietetics from Eastern Kentucky University.

In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and their dog, Paisley. She loves reading, exploring new places, and staying active in the Lexington community.
