Mr. Wit Wang serves as the Executive Director for the Office of Internationalization in the University of Kentucky College of Engineering. In this role, he leads the college’s global engagement initiatives, overseeing international strategy, partnerships, and scholarship programs. Mr. Wang works closely with faculty, institutional partners, and international organizations to strengthen the college’s presence and collaborations worldwide.

Since joining the University of Kentucky in 2013 as a student and later as a staff in 2021, Mr. Wang has played a central role in advancing international student recruitment, global marketing, and cross-cultural partnerships. His experience includes building networks and agreements across China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Oman, Brazil, Colombia, Camerron, Senegal, Kenya, Nigeria and other regions, as well as supporting international students’ academic and cultural transitions.

Mr. Wang is also fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Cantonese. He earned both his Master of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics. He also holds certificates in Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking and Global Commerce and Strategy from World Trade Center, and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP). Mr. Wang is an active member of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society, and an alumnus of the Leadership Louisville Center’s Ignite Louisville Class of Spring 2018.
